Samsung unveils NVMe PCIe based SSD of 2.2GB/s read speed capability

Samsung has become a market leader in storage worldwide.
And now Samsung's all new M.2 NVMe PCIe based SSD that is really damn fast which will thrill your senses.

Jeeho Baek, the Senior Vice President of Memory Marketing at Samsung explains:
"Our new NVMe SSD will allow for faster, ultra-slim notebook PCs with extended battery use, while accelerating the adoption of NVMe SSDs within the consumer marketplace.
Samsung will continue to stay a critical step ahead of others in the industry in introducing a diversity of next-generation SSDs, that contribute to an enhanced user experience through rapid popularization of ultra-fast, highly energy-efficient, compact SSDs".

The new SSDs will be capable of 2.2GB/sec and 1.6GB/sec sequential read/writes respectively.
It claims to handle 300,000 IOPS (I/O requests per Second). From the physical design point of view it has a form factory of 3.73mm thickness, weighs only 7g, and use 2mV which is a big drop in power from normal storage products that use up to 50mV, which is amazingly cool.

Now it's time for the world just to wait and watch when the 3D-NAND technology will arrive and how it will transform the way we see and feel technology.

I work on creating and promoting GCam APK which is a modified APK done to get several extra features on the stock app in Android. Basically this is done using reverse engineering the original app file. I work on publishing about GCam APK Port, custom ROMs and some Linux how-to guides. I use this YouTube Blue APK and the NewPipe APK as a daily Youtube apps.
