[AOSP ROM] Android 5.0 Lollipop AOSP for SONY XPERIA S

Good news for SONY XPERIA S users.
Don't know when the official Android Lollipop will come for Xperia S.
But un-officially xda junior user mickybart has ported the Lollipop AOSP for Sony Xperia S.

Files needed for this update:
- TWRP Custom recovery 2.8.0.1 download link
- Android Lollipop 5.0 ROM download link for Xperia S
- If you want ROOT then the SuperSU package

Installing AOSP lollipop on Xperia S:

STEP 1:

Copy the ROM and SuperuserSU package to your phone.

STEP 2:

Reboot into recovery and do a Factory Reset/Wipe Data
Format System, Cache and Dalvik Cache

STEP 3:

Install the ROM and superuser zip.

STEP 4:

Reboot your phone to enjoy the ROOTed Android Lollipop on your Sony Xperia S.

You can go to the recovery and flash the SuperSU package.

My Google Play services is not working after the ROM flashed.

Sorry for replying so late.

Copy those files to your phone means, if you have downloaded the ROM, GApps zip files to your PC then you have to transfer them to your phone.

If you have downloaded the files through your phone then no need to copy the files to your phone again.

Please let me know if you have any doubt.

The download link just works fine.
If you are using a mobile phone then install the mega app from play store and register with mega.co.nz and then I think you will be allowed to download.

Or else use a PC and try to download the file.
