[CUSTOM ROM] AOGP ROM for Redmi 1s based on CyanogenMod

AOGP also known as Android Open Grand Project is a Custom ROM by a small group of Inspired Developers.
This ROM is Based on CyanogenMod and developed by new developers who are still learning and working hard to make it perfect day by day.

Custom ROMs give much more features and flexibility to users as compared to the stock ROMs.
There are so many custom ROMs present out there and one more is added recently which is the AOGP ROM for Xiaomi Redmi 1s.
This AOGP ROM is brought to you by xda recognized contributor jackeagle.

Installing AOGP ROM:

To update your phone with AOGP ROM you have to get the recovery flashable ROM zip file over here:

STEP 1:
---------

Copy the ROM zip file to your SD card(By using a USB cable or via adb push command).

STEP 2:
---------

After copying the ROM zip file to your SD card you have to go to the recovery and there you have to install this zip file.
To go to the recovery type the following command (if you are on a PC):

$ adb reboot recovery

STEP 3:
---------

Wipe Data/Factory Reset
Format Dalvik Cache
Format Cache
Format System

NOTE:
This step will delete all your data.
Consider backup your all data out of your phone.
Data Backup guide

STEP 4:
---------

Select the Install Zip from SDcard option.
Select the ROM zip file where you have kept in the SD card.

The flashing will take a while.
When it will be done you can reboot your system and enjoy the AOGP ROM on your device.

NOTE:
This ROM does not contain Google applications like Gmail, drive, maps etc.
You need to install them separately.

Download the GApps zip file from the above page as per the Android version that you are flashing, copy the file to your SD card and follow the above ROM installation guide to install this package too.

I found the below data from the original thread.

If you have some concerns you can head over to the xda thread link that I have included in my post too.

Positives:-
Almost all of the OP mentioned features seems working very well. ROM is smooth. So far there is no lag but can't tell about gaming as I am not a gamer.
Specially I am fond of some special feature of AOGP like
1) Status bar mods (clocks, am/pm, net traffic, etc.)
2) Notification Drawer MOD.
3) Lockscreen Battery Ring and Lock before unlock, etc.
4) There are many, so can't write.
Again almost everything is working fine. there is no FC in Dialer or so its easy to set ringtone for 2nd sim.

Some negatives:-
1) Stock Recents Clear Button is causing FC.
2) Dark AOGP Settings makes the dialer number and favorite details illegible.

Can i install this On my Xolo Q1000 OPUS.? or is there any Custom Rom For Xolo Q1000 Opus.??? plz help

Hi Ankit.

Understand the fact that this ROM is meant for Xiaomi Redmi 1s which has entirely different hardware specifications as compared to the Xolo Q1000 Opus.
Which means this ROM is not for Xolo Q1000 Opus.
This does not mean I will tell you to return empty handed from here.

Xolo Q1000 Opus is sold in the name of Mobiistar touch Lai 504Q in Vietnam.
The above link is just a CWM custom recovery and not a ROM.

Before flashing anything to your device, I strongly recommend you to search thoroughly.
Because I did not find any satisfactory answer in the net for Xolo Q1000 Opus.

If you have the kernel source for your device then we can give a try.
