[CUSTOM ROM] CyanogenMod 12 Android 5.0 Lollipop for All variants of HTC Desire 816

Popular custom ROMs like Cyanogenmod is being ported to various devices by the developers since the source code release.
The official builds for certain devices started rolling out but not yet available for most of the devices out there.
Xda recognized developer contributor Garak has ported the CyanogenMod 12 Android Lollipop for all variants HTC Desire 816.

Files need for this installation:
- Custom recovery to flash CM 12 Android Lollipop 5.0
- CM 12 Android Lollipop 5.0.2 for HTC Desire 816 UPDATED LINK
- If you want ROOT then the SuperSU package

This ROM does not contain Google applications like Gmail, drive, maps etc. so download the below GApps zip package.

Installing CyanogenMod Android Lollipop on HTC Desire 816:

STEP 1:

Copy the ROM, GApps and SuperuserSU package to your phone.

STEP 2:

Reboot into recovery and do a Factory Reset/Wipe Data
Format System
Format Dalvik Cache

STEP 3:

Install the ROM, Gapps and superuser zip.

STEP 4:

Reboot your phone to enjoy the ROOTed Android Lollipop on your HTC Desire 816.

Radio don't work ,
Media player don't work,
radio signal is often low,
audio record does not capture very well the voice,

Hey Janak, I have updated the ROM download link. Visit the download link and download the latest ROM zip file.
I have checked the script and it says it supports "a5dug" variant.

Hope your problem will be resolved.

I am not able to find CM12 download for my "htc_a5dug" (HTC desire 816,India).
Is it available or we will not be having upgrade for this device.

Okay.
If you can modify the updater-script by yourself from the ROM zip package then you just remove the first assert() line from the script and re flash using the package.

If not, let me know I will do it for you and give it to you.

But before doing so I want you to provide the following information from your /system/build.prop file:
ro.build.product
ro.build.device

This requires you to have ROOT privilege.

Provide me the following information from your /system/build.prop file:

ro.build.device

And make sure that you have ROOT privilege.

If you are not using the recovery from the blog post then please download and install first and then give it a try.
