Google Nexus Player: The first Android TV with the latest Android Lollipop

Google's Android became the world famous mobile operating system and has produced millions of smartphones and tablets to date.
Recently Google had introduced it's Google wear software stack for the wearable devices.
Even it is entering to the Auto industries to provide a complete solution for connected cars.
Anyway, let it enter where it enters but recently it has announced the very first Android TV, the Nexus Player with the latest Android Lollipop.

The Nexus player is a complete circular device having the dimensions of 120mm x 120mm x 20mm (H x W x T) and weighs 235 grams.
The circular device looks really very attractive and portable.

Video specifications and usability:

Nexus Player is Full HD ready and capable of casting Full HD resolution data (1920x1080) at 60Hz frequency.
You just need a TV with HDMI input and a HDMI cable to connect the Nexus player to your TV.
Let it be an Android or iOS device, Mac or Windows laptop, or Chromebook the Google cast will cast your phone contents to your TV seamlessly.
Now you don't need a USB to HDMI cable for your device to connect your TV.

Other Details:

The Nexus Player comes with the Bluetooth enabled remote controller.
Google has manufactured a Gaming console compatible with the Nexus player which does not come with the Nexus Player but you can buy it separately from the Google Play Store.
Nexus Player will be available for pre-order on Google Play Store from 17th October 2014.
