Stuffs needed for this installation:
- CM 12 ROM zip package for Moto G 4G peregrine- If you want ROOT then the SuperSU package
This ROM does not contain Google applications like Gmail, drive, maps etc. so download the below GApps zip package.

Installing CyanogenMod 12 Android Lollipop on Moto G 4G (Peregrine):
- Before starting the actual installation be sure to backup all your data.
- Copy all your application data and settings using Titanium backup or any other application.
- Perform a nandroid backup using CWM or TWRP custom recovery.
- Now copy all your internal phone data to a PC.
- After completing the above things head on to the following installation guide.
Before proceeding to installation make sure that you have unlocked the bootloader and installed a custom recovery.
- Copy all your application data and settings using Titanium backup or any other application.
- Perform a nandroid backup using CWM or TWRP custom recovery.
- Now copy all your internal phone data to a PC.
- After completing the above things head on to the following installation guide.
STEP 1:
Boot into recovery.
STEP 2:
Wipe System Data, Dalvik Cache and Cache
STEP 3:
Install the ROM, Gapps and superuser zip.
STEP 4:
Wipe data and factory reset.
STEP 5:
Reboot your phone to enjoy the ROOTed CyanogenMod 12 Android Lollipop on your Moto G 4G.
The first boot time may take long time, so don't panic.
And be sure that you have enough battery backup and be patient.
