Micromax Canvas 5 comes with Cyanogenmod ROM as the default software

Most of us might be knowing about Android, which really changed the whole smartphone market and became the number one.
But still there are so many aftermarket customized softwares available those are built on top of Android and are popular too.
Some of the aftermarket customized softwares are Cyanogenmod, Paranoid Android, PacMan ROM and lot more, out of which Cyanogenmod is the most popular yet.
Recently Cyanogenmod was in news because of the Google acquisition.
Google approached to acquire Cyanogenmod Inc but it refused the deal.

Indian leading smartphone manufacturer Micromax is about to bring it's latest flagship Micromax Canvas 5 with the popular aftermarket Cyanogenmod software according to droidgoblin.
But this information is not yet announced officially.
The device will probably be priced at INR 22,000.

Cyanogenmod is popular because it offers flexibility in terms of customization, gives more performance and more built in features as compared to the stock AOSP(Android Open Source Project) ROMs like those are coming with the Google Nexus devices.
With Cyanogenmod you will hardly require any other custom ROMs or hardly you you will go for further customizations like a custom kernel or overclocking etc.
Although Cyanogenmod has made it's debut with Oppo and One Plus smartphones but still it did not create a buzz in the market.
Surely this deal will help Micromax and more to Cyanogenmod Inc.
