NIkon claims of fake DSLR cameras in the market, warns buyers

Nikon has confirmed that fraudulently modified and imitation products have been received by Nikon Service Centres for repair.
Nikon claims that some of the fraudulently modified cameras are sold in the market as D800, D7100 and D4.
It's really impossible to know the authenticity by just looking at the design.
Nikon warns to double check the device is the real deal to its buyers who buys their Nikon DSLR through an online auction site or similar.

On Tuesday, Nikon said it’s now coming across D7100 DSLRs, which cost in the region of $1000 for the body only, that have been modified to look like the D610 shooter, which retails for $500 more.
D4 cameras fraudulently modified to make them look like D4S cameras
D800 cameras fraudulently modified to make them look like D800E cameras

Final word is just be careful you guys when buying any Nikon DSLR cameras from any online store and if you are going to buy or if you have already bought then check if it is a authentic or not.

I work on creating and promoting GCam APK which is a modified APK done to get several extra features on the stock app in Android. Basically this is done using reverse engineering the original app file. I work on publishing about GCam APK Port, custom ROMs and some Linux how-to guides. I use this YouTube Blue APK and the NewPipe APK as a daily Youtube apps.
