Xolo One: An Android for Everyone

Android One is a Google initiative set to bring an AOSP(Android Open Source Project)-like experience to some emerging markets like India, Bangladesh, Indonesia, and Sri Lanka.
It was officially announced at Google I/O back in June, and now it has already been launched a month ago.

you can see our Android One page here:

[The all new XOLO One]

Some key features of Xolo One:

  • 4.5" IPS display
  • 1.3 GHz Quad-core Mediatek processor
  • 5.0 MP camera
  • 1GB RAM
  • Android 4.4.2 KitKat (Upgradable to Android Lollipop)
  • 1,700 mAh battery

Brands like Sony, Samsung and LG definitely packs more feature but ultimately they costs much too.
But brands like Xolo brings you ultimate user experience at an affordable price.

In my personal opinion the Xolo has become one of the biggest smartphone player at least in Indian market.
It has always tried to pack unique features in the lower and mid range segment smartphones starting from day 1 of it's existence when it launched with an Intel processor.
And today it's step towards ultimate security on a hand held device by packing a fingerprint sensor.

Let's see the design, hardware specs and performance figures.

Full hardware specifications :

DISPLAY:
    - 4.5" WVGA resolution (480x854) IPS display

Design and Display:

The dimensions of Xolo One is 128 x 64.3 x 9.3 mm (H x W x T) which is not the best in class but will be slim and handy.
It does not have any on-screen soft key buttons(like Google Nexus) rather it has the buttons on the bottom of the device itself.
It comes with a WVGA resolution and 5 point finger touch display.

Camera details:

The primary camera is of 5 MP and the Front facing camera is a VGA one which supports operator video calling.

Processing, performance and benchmarking:

With this MT6582M 1.3GHz quad processor definitely you will be getting good performance.
AnTuTu Benchmark 4 will be around 17496 which is more than the stock Moto G.
And with the 1GB RAM your device will be capable of running multiple applications gracefully and fast enough.

So overall you will be getting good performance against the price you are paying for.

It is capable of playing 1080p resolution videos.
