NAND Flash Market leader TOSHIBA introduced 3rd Gen FlashAir III wireless SD card

Toshiba corporation, one of leading semiconductor company in the world and the inventor of today's most popular NAND flash, today introduced the all new 3rd Gen. FlashAir III wireless SD card at CES 2015.
This memory card establishes its own wireless LAN access point that allows users to access, share and do more with the underlying images, videos or any other files.
The FlashAir III now features enhanced photo sharing and management features that enables the users to quickly access the SD card contents and which photos or videos to share and easily manage files from a web browser on a PC.

The built-in wireless LAN chip enables the device accessible from upto 7 other wireless capable devices or devices connected via a wireless router.

In addition to that this also has an inbuilt Wi-Fi access point that allows to connect other users to the SD card and makes the underlying files accessible thereby without an internet connection.
This function makes this a mini wireless router.

If you have internet access through your local wireless router, then the FlashAir's internet pass-through feature enables you to access the SD card and internet simultaneously enabling the ability to share the files over internet in real time.

On top of everything in this smartphone era TOSHIBA has offered a free FalshAir mobile application for iOS and Android users.

The Toshiba FlashAir III wireless SD card will be available for purchase in March for $79.99 for 16GB and $99.99 for 32GB.
