There was a time when I bought a Micromax Andro A60 at a price of around INR 7,000 that to three years back.
But definitely the time is changed in fact I must say that Android has changed the smartphone market.
But anyways, Micromax has launched a new phone in the budget smartphone market segment.
This phone has a price tag of INR 6,999/- and it has decent hardware specifications.
Of course it may not surprise you like Xiaomi Mi3 which offers you almost the highest hardware spec at the current market trend at just double the price of this one, but definitely Micromax is on it's own way and you cannot expect everything that to at a cheaper price.

Performance and other features inside the Micromax Canvas FIRE 2:
This phone packs a Mediatek MT6582 quad-core chipset clocked at 1.3 GHz.
It has 1 GB RAM to handle the applications that you run.
Yes of course 1 GB RAM seems to be low but believe me it will work just smooth.
At this price segment if you consider Moto G, which has the same RAM memory amount and that runs pretty cool.
But the saddest part is this phone 4GB of ROM where the OS and system applications will be stored but it has only 1.5GB of Internal memory out of which only 650MB will be available to install user applications.
But on the other hand it is expandable upto 32GB by means of an external SD card.

Final words to this post by saying that at this price point of view alongside other manufacturers specifically Motorola or Xolo, Micromax offers a very good deal to the consumers.
You can see the above comparison table to see Micromax FIRE 2 is really not behind in the race even it comes to big brand names like Motorola Moto E.
